Effectiveness
Monitoring of Restoration Projects in the Shasta Basin.
Collected field data on 24 sites to assess the effects of restoration to
riparian and stream conditions of the Shasta River and Little Shasta
River. Work was contracted from the Shasta Valley Resource
Conservation District under funding from the California Department of Fish

Stream flow
and turbidity monitoring. Performed
year-long monitoring of two comparison watersheds for the BLM Salem
District as part of project to monitoring sediment deliver following
forest harvests. Maintained automated water sampling stations on a cut and
an uncut watershed, measured stream discharge, and performed turbidity
analyses on samples. Field visits were performed three days per week.
